Budgets are always tight with the need to provide more while keeping precepts down, Town and Parish councils as the smaller councils often are looking for a simple drinks solution only which leads us to recommending the Flavia SB100 or the Flavia S350 for hot drinks.
With just a few councillors and a part time clerk meeting in a village hall, the SB100 is a simple outright purchase that requires no maintenance but provides a fresh coffee and leaf tea experience for members and guests. Machines cost under £200 plus VAT with Councils able to claim a 10% discount on their first machine/drink order. Delivery as always is included with Vendesent and we are on the phone if needed.
If your council is a little larger with 15-20 councillors or a dedicated building, the S350 on a 3 or 5 year lease would be the machine of choice. We can maintain the machine on site if required and it has the added advantage over the SB100 of being quicker, giving more drink options, an option to plumb in to mains water and it has an integral bin for the waste filter packs. These machines start at just over £30 per month before your discount.
Drinks cost from 12p upwards. Discounts do apply on drinks too and there are volume discounts based on your volume over the year.
Whatever size of building and council you are, a water machine is a must. The facts on hydration are clear and if you are drinking less than 8 cups a day you may not be properly hydrated and your work and health can suffer as a result.
We provide both plumbed in "point of use" water coolers and the moveable unplumbed bottle machines. Prices are low starting at around £10 per month. A POU machine will cost more and is cost effective if you would be using 2 bottles a week on a bottle cooler. |
