With the new regulations coming in for schools, Vendesent didn't have much to do. This is because we have always offered wholesome, nutritious, tasty food at an affordable price not just for schools and leisure centres but in offices too. As well as offering carbonated drinks of both a diet and regular variety we were one of the first vending organisations in the UK to promote fruit smoothies and fresh juice cans options in our machines. We have a range of products approved for school use.
Judy Hargadon, Chief Executive of the School Food Trust said "Vending is a great way to provide a broad selection of food and drinks for children and young people throughout the day. Managed well it can ease the pressures on catering staff during the lunchtime as well as extend the catering service to outside school hours."
For some time now staff in offices, factories and warehouses have been quite rightly demanding increasingly more choice at reasonable prices and so we offer a daily fill fresh food service with a range including jacket potatoes, salads, pasta salads, sandwiches, rolls, fruit and yoghurts. Now schools are rightfully offering the same quality of products.
For schools there is no need to loose the essential revenue vending machines bring. Our prices are discounted for schools with a minimum 10% discount and the revenue share altered in your favour to offer that extra support. We can also provide machines for self operating allowing you to vend yoghurts, milk drinks, food, cereal bars and so on.
For schools serving older students or with larger staff areas a hot drink machine can provide an important revenue stream and our Charity Machines[/link] not only provide a great drink, they help a charity providing valuable services in your local area.
A water machine is a must in schools and as well as the usual plumbed in machines, we also have a Brita Del Monte machine offering chilled water mixed with 25% real fruit juice. There is also an option to charge for the flavoured drinks.
